Within the synergy between PPRD EAST 3 program and ASB project – Stronger Together EMT Georgia had an opportunity to participate in the SimEx organized on June 14-16 in Tbilisi. The exercise aimed to test the quality of the response and their operability and efficiency in a real-life situation. Interoperability and cooperation between teams from different countries was one of the focuses of the exercise. The full – scale exercise included coordination actions in headquarters as well as in the field. Teams from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, Sweden together with the Georgian emergency medical team took part in the exercise. Georgian EMT was given a great opportunity to practice theoretical knowledge as well as test SOPs in the field. Moreover, EMT had a unique opportunity to coordinate with different teams during emergencies.
