The project kick-off event was conducted in a hybrid mode on 4 June, 2021 in Tbilisi.  In Armenia the event was attended by the first Deputy Minister of Health, Head of the Emergency Situations and Mobilization Preparation Division of MoH, Head of the International Relations Department of MoH and the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Management as well as WHO and Red Cross representatives; In Georgia the event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health, the Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center, the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, the National Security Council. In addition, the representatives of European Union, FAST Team Germany, the Robert Koch Institute and other relevant field experts and international organizations working on the issues of DRR and emergency healthcare participated in the event.

After presentation of the project and speeches made by the donor and project implementing /partner organizations, MoU singing ceremony was conducted.
