Development of national action plans

The workshop to develop internal action plan was organized in Tbilisi on 30 November – 1 December 2021. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health, the Head of Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center, EMT focal point, the representatives of Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. The workshop participants discussed and analysed topics for EMT establishment and effective functioning.

On 28-29 October 2021 two days’ workshop with the involvement of major stakeholders was organized in Yerevan. The purpose of the workshop was to develop internal EMT action plan for Armenia including detailed timeline as well as responsible agencies/personnel for action plan implementation. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health Armenia, EMT focal point Armenia, MoES and Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center representatives from Armenia. 

As a result of the workshops EMT action plans for Armenia and Georgia were developed taking considering the recommendations set in the Needs Assessment as well as the comments, suggestions, views, and ideas of participating stakeholders.
